At Cotswold Concepts we value your rights as consumer, whether private individual or business.  That's why, in addition to complying with all State and National Trade Practice and Banking requirements, we also make the following statements regarding Privacy, and Refunds & Returns:

Importance of your privacy
Cotswold Concepts recognizes the importance of protecting the privacy of personally identifiable information collected about you. For this purpose we have created this privacy policy to describe how we collect and use your personal information.  
The National Privacy Principles
Cotswold Concepts is bound by the National Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988.
Collecting your personal information
Cotswold Concepts collects your personal information in order to provide you services or deliver our products to you. Your personal information is collected when a product is purchased or a service is provided by us. The personal information collected will have your name, address and contact details in the course of a transaction. As a general rule we do not collect sensitive information such as credit card information. Be aware, we may save your shipping information as your profile for your convenience when you make first purchase.

Our policy for collecting personal information under the age of 18 is to seek the permission of a parent or guardian for the collection of this information.
Using and disclosing your personal information
At Cotswold Concepts, your personal Information will be used for the following primary purpose:

    • To complete a transaction between you and Cotswold Concepts.
    • To provide services related to our business.
    • To provide information about our products, services and special offers.
    • To obtain opinions or comments about products and/or services.

    You information will not be disclosed with Cotswold Concepts. Your personal information will not be used or disclosed for any other purposes except in cases when disclosure may be required by law.

    We may contact you using the information which is provided in order to carry on our business activity such as delivery product, regard our services, or send newsletters. However, if you do not wish to receive communications from us, please send a notification to our privacy officer.
    Your right of access information
    You have the right to access and update the information that has been saved in our database via our website. When you ask to delete your information stored in our database, the reasonable steps will be taken to do so and it may result in us being unable to keep your purchase records and/or provide certain services including after sales services.
    Security and storage
    Cotswold Concepts will take all reasonable steps to secure your personal information recorded in our database, and to keep this information accurate and up to date. The information is stored on our secured servers if in digital format, or in locked areas if in hardcopy format.

    Cotswold Concepts is not responsible for the contents or practices of Web sites operated by third parties that are linked to our sites. These links are meant for your convenience and information only. Once you have left our site via such a link, you should check the applicable privacy policy of the third party site.

    Changes to our privacy policy
    It may be necessary for us to revise our privacy policy. However, any changes will be in complying with the Privacy Act 1988 and the National Privacy Principles. We will post changes of this privacy policy on our website www.cotswoldconcepts.com.au.

 

Refunds & Returns

General Return Policy
General return policy apply to all product returns.

You must notify us within 5 working days from the receipt of your product via email at info@cotswoldconcepts.com.au for any incorrect packed, missing or Dead On Arrival items.

On receiving your email, our customer service staff will assign you the Return Authorization Code - RAC. Please note that RAC does not guarantee the replace or refund.

The product must be returned to Cotswold Concepts within 7 working days after the RAC has been issued.

All Products must be packed in its original package including any accessories, manuals, documentation that shipped with the product.

The product invoice, RAC must be attached with the returned product.

Any product which is returned, and in Cotswold Concepts sole discretion is not defective or not as described in the email will be either charged up to 30% restock fee to cover costs, or will be returned to you.

If we decided to refund the returned product, full amount of costs including shipping and purchasing for the product will be refunded.

Failure to comply with this general policy may result in denial of your return.

Please note this return policy may change without notice. It will be effective from the date of the change.

Return DOA products
If product is discovered to be malfunction broken when first taken from its packaging or it shows symptoms of a failure, it is considered DOA

  1. On receiving customer returned product, our customer service staff will determine whether the Product is DOA. Once the Product is determined as DOA we will arrange to replace the product. If a replacement product can not be provided, refunds will be offered

    Cotswold Concepts reserves the right to test any returned DOA product. If the condition of the product was misrepresented to us, Cotswold Concepts may in its absolute discretion refuse to replace or refund. The product will be sent back to you.

    Once the product is replaced or refund is given, the returned DOA Product becomes our property.

  2. Return Products that is incorrectly packed
    Once we receive the return products, we will post your ordered product or refund for the original purchase price of the product and associated freight costs. Please make sure you include the returning freight receipt with the product returned.

    If we find that the product was packed correctly, it will be returned to you and you will be invoiced a processing fee and any freight costs associated with the return. These invoiced amounts will be payable within 14 days of receipt of invoice.

     Return products that you changed your mind
    We do not refund if you change your mind about the product, or you make an incorrect choice, or fail to provide or verify your information accurately when place an order.

    Return faulty product
    You may be able to return it as dead on arrival or damaged in transit if it is within 14 days of purchase.

    All faulty product returns with an invoice date of more than 14 days since purchase will be treated as a manufacturers warranty claim.

    Damaged product in transit
    If you receive a product that is damaged in transit from us to you, you should:

    Refuse to accept delivery of the product, mark as DAMAGED GOODS prior to signing on the Proof of Delivery docket, direct the courier to "Return goods to sender" and notify our Customer Service staff immediately. If you have already accepted delivery, and then notice that the product appears to have been damaged in transit, you should notify our Customer Service staff immediately; all the matter must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

    If your product is in full working condition or any defects or damage were caused after you took receipt of the product, you will be invoiced an administration fee and any freight costs associated with the return, the products will be returned to you. These invoiced amounts has to be paid within 30 days of receipt of invoice.
